I entered another bike show. Came in 2nd place this time. Not the same bikes as last time. I got there at 12:29 and registration ended at 12:30. Jumped off the bike and ran to the desk. They let me enter. They didn't have a foreign custom. I had my choice of custom or Asian. I chose custom. It only made sense. Well, the other bike (oh yeah, I came in second out of 2 bikes) was a HD chopper. Didn't look as clean as mine, the owner didn't either, but it did look good. I could have take first place in Asian after all. I really didn't think I belonged in Asian though. The only customizing on 2 of the bikes was a skull on one tank and a rose on another. They were older bikes and really didn't look so great. The other was a Honda Goldwing with nothing done to it. I really didn't want first place just to get first. I did get a lot of compliments though. The HD guy had a lot of friends that had entered. Oh well, second out of two bikes. The trophy is nice. It's red, white and blue with an eagle on the top. The Asian trophy was 3 times as big and had a mc with a rider on it. Much nicer trophy. I guess they figured the custome would be won by HD (the eagle and all). My SO says I don't have to tell people there were only 2 bikes in my class, but I don't hide things very well.
